On ‘Extra’ with Mario Lopez !

Sean Penn and Robin Wright’s daughter sat down with “Extra’s” Mario Lopez at Universal Studios Hollywood, where she dished about the current status of her dad and his ex-wife Madonna’s relationship.

Dylan and Sean recently hung out at Madonna’s concerts in NYC, where she met Madge for the very first time. Dylan said she met Madonna “briefly after the show, which was kind of surreal.” She went on to say, “It was just, like, crazy to see my dad and her still really good friends, and it’s so obvious that they were, you know, had this young romance together.”

Penn added, “It’s like your first love… And it was great to see that.”

The model-turned-actress has been busy promoting her first feature-film role. In “Condemned,” she plays a rich young girl who runs away with her boyfriend. “He lives in this condemned building; all the tenants go on, like, a murderous rampage.”

It may be her first big break, but the 24-year-old grew up on movie sets, “The first set I remember was probably ‘She’s So Lovely.’ Both my parents were in that film, and I remember seeing my dad jump through a fake glass window.”

“Condemned” hits theaters on November 13.

Face in the Crowd: Dylan Penn

Deep in the belly of the old Milan Stock Exchange, the crowd started wilting under the bright lights Sunday afternoon as the Salvatore Ferragamo show ran 40 minutes late.

The reason? Dylan and Hopper Penn, the children of Sean Penn and Robin Wright, had yet to arrive. When they did, the crowd burst into mock applause. Styles stole five minutes with Dylan, dressed head to toe in Ferragamo, at the end of the show. (Hopper hovered somewhat nervously in the background, besieged by the excitable Italian news media).

What brings you to Milan?

Gosh, it’s so hot I’m sweating! Those lights are insane. I’m just here on a flying two-day visit for this show. It’s my first-ever trip to the city.

So this is your first Ferragamo show?

Yes. And it wasn’t at all as I expected. I was in the showroom yesterday, and there was a lot of jersey and knit. But I loved the whimsical romanticism of this. It was great, especially the capes.

Why is your brother here?

He’s my date. He thought he’d try the fashion world on for size, but this still isn’t really his scene. We’re both still getting into it. It’s a strange and fascinating world for the outsider.

Sean Penn Introduced Dylan to Madonna After NYC Concert

Usually it’s kind of a weird thing when you meet someone who used to have a big love thing with your dad, but when that person is Madonna, it instantly becomes cool.

That’s what happened when Sean Penn introduced his daughter, Dylan Penn, to his world-famous ex-wife Madonna after the superstar’s NYC concert on Thursday, Sept. 17.

The Oscar winner and his model daughter, 24, whose mom is Penn’s second wife, Robin Wright, were spotted in the audience at Madonna’s Rebel Heart tour stop at Madison Square Garden (the second of three Big Apple dates) and a source confirms to Us Weekly that Dylan and the Grammy winner, 57, met for the first time backstage at the show.

“She had never met Madonna before, but Madonna was really sweet to her,” the source says. “Madonna and Sean have stayed close friends over the years, so of course she embraced Dylan.”

The Gunman star was also seen standing and smiling during the concert when Madonna performed the song “True Blue.” The song was released in 1986, when the pair were still married, and in the notes for the True Blue album, Madonna wrote, “This is dedicated to my husband, the coolest guy in the universe.”

Sean, 57, and Madonna were married for four turbulent years before divorcing in 1989. Just last month she shared a sultry throwback pic, taken by Herb Ritts, with her ex in celebration of their mutual birthday on Aug. 17. (Madonna’s friends have referred to Sean as the singer’s “one true love.”)

It’s not the first time the actor has been spotted at one of his ex-wife’s shows, he also attended a MDNA concert in L.A. in 2012, where a concertgoer told Us Weekly that “their chemistry was off the charts.”
